Hey guys! So a lot has been going on in my life and one day I'll probably get around to sharing, but in the mean time, I apologize for not being as active on here as I originally hoped to be! I'm hoping to fix that soon.

However, I did want to take a moment to share with you some very special people in my life and the wellness choices they have made that have impacted their lives tremendously. Maybe they will even inspire you!

Casey's Amare journey

The first is my dear friend, Casey. You might remember her from my art spotlight. She has set out to improve her mental clarity and wellness through a company called Amare. Instead of me telling you, though, why don't I just let her explain it.

She has promised to give me some samples of their energy packets and I will report on my experience later. If you would like to make a start towards mental health, you can get in touch with Casey here. I'm sure she would love to help you get started.

Jaki's Young Living journey

This next one I can personally vouch for as my sister-in-law Jaki is the one who got me started on YL's essential oils. She is a fabulous person with a testimony of her own. Here is her words and experience with essential oils.

"My essential oil journey began just over six years ago, when my son was about ten months old.  He had come down with a cold and there is not much you can do for a baby when they get sick other than providing comfort.  I started doing a lot of research on alternative ways to help him as my husband and I wanted to avoid giving him the typical “medicine”, i.e. ibuprofens and acetaminophens, as much as possible.  I would like to note, we did give it to him when necessary, i.e. high fever or in pain from teething.  This is when one of my friends had mentioned essential oils.  I was curious and started to dive into the different companies as I didn’t want to use just any essential oil.  From my research, I found they are not created equally, which is why I chose Young Living.

Young Living’s Seed to Seal standard sold me (http://seedtoseal.com/en/3-pillars).  Their oils are free of synthetics, are un-adulterated, and sourced ethically.  I have personally visited one of their farms and warehouse where they do the testing of each batch, it was pretty amazing to see.  However, the oils themselves have changed my friends and family’s life.  I use them EVERY single day and so does my husband.  I want to share a story with you all.  One of my good friends called us asking if we could watch their daughter while they took their ten-day old son to the ER.  He was not keeping anything down and they were very concerned.  After seeing the doctor, they were sent home as there was nothing, they could do except to keep trying to feed him.  She knew I had essential oils and asked if there was anything we could try.  I told her that I don’t typically use essential oils on babies younger than six months old, but I will do some quick research.  We decided to use Digize and lavender.  We diluted them with a carrier oil, a ratio of two tablespoons to one drop of each.  They rubbed the oil in a clockwise motion on his belly.  They waited expecting him to start vomiting again, but nothing.  An hour later he was able to start eating with no issues.  I have many other stories like this.

I know a lot of people question the use of essential oils, and I think they should.  I encourage everyone to do their own research and determine what standards are important to you.  I also do tell people not to buy essential oils from places like Walmart, Target, Marshalls or even Amazon.  Read the label, research the company especially if you plan to put it on your skin or ingest.  I also like to tell everyone that essential oils are not cure all for everything and that different oils work differently for different people.  For example, my son uses Peace and Calming to help him sleep at my night.  This oil does not help my oldest daughter sleep; she uses the sleepyize blend.

One last thing about Young Living, is they are not just an essential oil company, they also sell other products.  They have makeup, cleaning, food, supplements and have partnered with Nature’s Ultra to provide CBD products.

If you are curious about essential oils or Young Living and how they can help you, please feel free to contact me at jacquelean.payne@gmail.com.  I also encourage you to visit Young Living’s website and take a look (https://www.youngliving.com/en_US).  I love sharing and talking about them with pretty much anyone who wants to listen.

I have loved my EO! However, due to financial constraints I had to cut back on my business side, but I still purchase as needed to keep my stock up! I use them for everything from bath bombs, lotions, soaps, and cleaners to just simply diffusing them for a pleasant smell. If you would be interested in more information on starting an essential oil journey, please contact her. She will be more than willing to help you through every step as well as sharing tips, tricks, and new upcoming products that YL offers.

I'm so proud of these two! Their journeys are so inspiring. I just wish you could meet them! There are many more that will be mentioned in the future, but I want to keep these short so I can really focus in on just a couple. It brings me such joy to be able to introduce you all to the people that fill my life with joy! Thank you Jaki and Casey for your sunshine! <3
